How do you get to mt. zozo

i have returned to zozo several times and still can't open the rusted door. I have talked to the man who tells you this is a dangerous place everytime i go there and he still just tells me that this is a dangerous place and to be careful. How can I get the item i need?

This happened to me, too. The guy who gives you the rust-aid wasn't there when I walked into town initially, but he was after I went to the place where you get

Did you speak with Lola and read the letter? And talk to the bird outside her house? I think you have to do those things first, or the Rust-Rid guy won't sell you anything. My friend was having trouble with that too.

After over a decade of playing I've found some interesting things myself. Don't worry, I do this game in my free time in addition to my other duties in life. I still get stuck in parts where I forget to do one thing and have to go back.
But when people don't show up where there suppose to be, especially the moving sprites, they could be hidden under and eve or in a door so you might miss them. But the game has only so many flaws when trying to beat it.
