This is probably a dumb question, but I just picked up ff3 again recently after not playing it for like 9 years, and I can't for the life of me recall how to get Mog in the WoB. I tried going to the moogle cave with no luck. THanks in advance

Don't know if this should be spoiler-tagged, but doing so anyway...
Possible spoilers: highlight to view At some point in time before the WoR (i can't remember which event this can come after), when you visit Narshe and go into the house in the far eastern part of town that had all those treasure boxes but one box you couldn't open, you'll bump into Lone Wolf the pickpocket trying to get at said chest. Chase him through the mines, and you end up at where the esper Tritoch is. Lone Wolf is there holding Mog hostage, and he tells you not to move or the moogle gets hurt. Don't move; after a while Mog manages to struggle his way out and knocks the two of them over the cliff, at which point they both manage to grab hold of the edge of the cliff and hang on for dear life. You now have to save one of them. If you save Lone Wolf, you get the Gold Hairpin he stole (cuts MP usage in half), but you lose Mog for the duration of the WoB (and thus, lose the chance to get his Water Rondo dance). If you save Mog, you lose the hairpin (no big deal; there are plenty more where that came from, and Economizers are better anyway). |

The only time you can get the Water Rondo dance is in the WOB if you save Mog instead a piece of crap Gold Hairpin on the mountain above Narshe.

THanks in advance If I rember, you get mog like this: after your adventure in the factory of vector wen you get control over the airship ,go back to narshe,go to the house in front of the house of the guy who helps terra , there you will find loonley wolf when he see's you he will go to the place where you find the frozen esper, he will kill mog when you try to get closer, go closer untill your character goes back ,when this happens go to your menu and choose magic when you do this choose to save mog and then you'll get him ![]() Moderator Edit The question has already been answered, btw, but thanks. -R51 This post has been edited by Rangers51 on 3rd August 2004 20:42 -------------------- They may be monsters, but they're sea monsters.
