Anyone else thinks a lot of them really suck?

You've got one girl dressed like a cowboy, wearing pink chaps, another guy who REALLY needs a haircut, and some dude who resembles a GYM TEACHER.

And let's not forget the two worst character designs there are.

Seargent/Major Joe (He's a friggin' duck. The world should know that after having Howard the Duck in theatres, talking humanoid ducks really, REALLY SUCK)

Yuber (This death dealing badass from Suikoden 1 and 2 is now seom fruit who walks around tipping his already tipped hat at people. What the hell happened to evil Black Knight Yuber, bearer of the Eightfold Rune?!)

Judging from the screenshots and designs I've seen so far, I'm inclined to believe that the artists are taking a slight step in the wrong direction.

Some of the characters really look quite goofy, particularly the duck characters (as Rubes so kindly pointed out).  Others seem bland and unoriginal.  I know I may seem judgmental in saying this, but when I see some of the characters I can just predict exactly what kind of stereotype they're going to soullessly portray.

Of course, Suikoden never was into character development for anything other than the most major roles, as the minor characters usually got only a few meaningful lines overall.  Still, I hope this new direction doesn't tarnish the image of an otherwise excellent series.

But at least characters that never did anything plot-wise in Suikoden 2 owned. Think about Oulan, Genshu, Wakaba, LC Chan, Pesmerga, and the almighty GEORG PRIME. They owned.

I fail to see how a Gym Teacher, pink cowgirl and DUCK SOLDIERS will own.

If I'm not mistaken about the game, I think some of the chara designs are really cute.. like Lise and that.. chick.. with the purpley hair.

Here's a few character designs that I like.

Haha, that gym teacher. If all of them have different skills (I've never played Suikoden, though I wanted to buy Suikoden 2), and I assume they will, they'll come up with some good abilities. I'd like to see what that Impresario can do!

Dude, do whatever it takes to find and purchase Suikoden 2. It's rare these days, and I'm telling you in all seriousness, it's one of the best games ever made. If you have the chance to own it, do NOT pass it up.

Yes, there is such a thing.
There are pictures of women who have to hold themselves up against doorframes because their chest is so large. They have to sew pockets into the insides of their shirts, so they don't break their neck or back. There IS such a thing as too big. I believe that someone with breasts that are 5 times the size of her head, is sick, twisted, and needs shot.

Pardon my off-topicness, but I hate it when Men say that.
