I have a slight problem...

I have all of the magic materia mastered and I went to the huge materia and it didn't give me the master one.

What am I doing wrong?

The way I see it, one of the two situations I'll describe is yours.

First option: you don't go to the right materia. It must be the green Huge Materia or else it won't work. Maybe you're using the wrong one, or the only one available to you if you forgot to pick up three of them.

Second option: you don't have the whole set of magic materia. A few materias are hard to come by, or really rare: Full Cure, Shield and Ultima can be missed easilly, although not permanently. A few materias must be bought too, or you'll never run into any of them. Check with our own materia section to see if you have some missing.

If none of the above is right, then you're screwed

I have all the super rare materia like Shield and Contain but I still can't get it. I have talked to the Green Materia.

I'll check, but I am almost positive that I have mastered all of them.

Maybe I missed one.

Happened to me once, i forgot Seal

Luckily at this point i hadnt killed Ruby, but i just slapped it in the apocalypse and it was mastered after 1 fight

Well, I checked, and I have all of the magic materia mastered, and I still can't get the master materia. Do you have to beat the weapons or something? I haven't beaten the Ruby or Emerald weapon, so would that be the problem?

Beating the Weapons is not required at all, you just need a copy of every magic materia mastered, and the Green Huge Materia.

When you press Action near it, you'll be given three choices, iirc: just choose each to be sure (except the last one, which brings you out of Bugenhagen's observatory). Try de-equiping the materias too, although I don't think it should matter.

I found out what I did wrong...

Scenario: I am a person who never organizes anything. Last night, I decided to arrange all of my materia, and I found out that I had (somehow) put my nearly mastered Earth materia near the bottom. It only had 1120AP to go, so I mastered it, went to the observatory, and materia blended. Case closed.

So... I feel dumb now. Oh well...

i never knew you could get this "master materia" before and i just got it tonight and it is pretty kool but yeah i have every materia now but before that i thought i had every materia bu nope i was wrong but now i can say i do.........lol
