Does anyone think that Squre might of thrown in some hidden scenes or unlockable events? Ones that aren't in any strategy guide or easily found?
For instance there's a rumor about Tiamt roaming the worldmap north of Figaro (the town) Another thig is if you play the Anthology version of FF6, at the title screen everytime you load the game up there is a different character from the game walking back and forth across the screen.....and one of the characters is a woman i've never even seen in the game.. |

The tiamat rumor is false if you look at CoN's FF6 rumor section.
But I'm pretty sure the Gogo and Setzer one is real. -------------------- Kel'Thuzad: She is persistent. Reminds me of you, death knight. Arthas:Shut up you damned ghost. -Warcraft III Kel'thuzad comparing Arthas and Sylvanas Windrunner. |

FF6 has been hacked entirely by many talented ROM hackers, a few of which hang out here (myself being one of these.)
That being said, the script format has been hacked a good 2-3 years ago and we've dumped all of the data relevant to this. Special mention goes out to Imzogelmo for his work (I believe it was him) as he figured out a lot of commands that others were unable to crack. As much as I hate to take away the magic from FF6, there is nothing left to be found. But there's still plenty left to enjoy. ![]() Edit: I almost forgot... There's one little-known scene when you have Locke and Terra in the WoB. If you take the massively long road back to the Veldt and get Gau, something minor happens when you try to get back, IIRC. Other than that, there's nothing special. No, Gogo isn't some other character in the game. You can't revive Leo. And the Opera theme and Aeris' theme from 7 are the same. That's all. ![]() This post has been edited by Silverlance on 5th September 2006 21:12 -------------------- "Judge not a man by his thoughts and words, but by the quality and quantity of liquor in his possession and the likelyhood of him sharing." |

Quote (Silverlance @ 5th September 2006 15:08) As much as I hate to take away the magic from FF6, there is nothing left to be found. Well, there's still the mystery of that one map where both Clyde and Baram are peeking through the Inn windows at Thamasa (if there's any forgotten dialogue or events associated with that map that could clarify things). That was found just last month IIRC, but I don't have the photo; you'll have to ask Novalia Spirit. So I should clarify; there is nothing left that the average player is likely to give a damn about. And are you talking about when you have Locke and Terra right after the Emperor's Banquet in Vector? In that case how can you get to the Veldt, since the airship's out of commission and the land doesn't connect? I would love to know how you trigger this scene and what happens! ![]() -------------------- Kupo! |

Possible spoilers: highlight to view ...you finish the veldt, go to Nikea, and take a boat to occupied figaro. There, some guy puts you in a treasure chest and sneaks you out of the town's port without letting the soldiers see. Then you can walk back to Narshe. I don't think this has to do anything with Locke/Terra - it can be any of the other characters But maybe i'm wrong.... ![]() This post has been edited by because555 on 6th September 2006 22:35 -------------------- I'VE HAD AN ETERNITY TO PONDER THE MEANING OF THINGS. No. What he's talking about is an event that exists but can't be triggered. When you're done with the banquet, Terra and Locke go to Thamasa. To protect any experimenting player from unwanted results, they made a check to see if Gau was in the Terra/Locke party. If he was, he would leave there.
You can't have Gau though; the programmers probably figured that Leaping Gau, doing the Banquet scene, going to the Veldt and picking him up would do the trick, but you can't enter the Veldt without the Blackjack so you can't execute the scene anyway. Hacking Gau in your party triggers the scene, though. It can be seen at my site under the Loser Club section. -------------------- |
