Biography

Atropos is a robot living in the Geno Dome of 2,300 AD, of a make and model similar to that of Robo. She has a pink sheen and wears a ribbon because she's a pretty, pretty girl.

Additional Information

Due to reprogramming, Atropos is a loyal servant of Mother Brain and is dedicated to ridding the "future" of humans. Robo challenges her to a one-on-one fight to defend his friends, and brings Atropos to her senses. In some endings, Robo and Atropos are seen sitting together at a tranquil mountainside.

Atropos and Mother Brain both refer to Robo as Prometheus. In Greek myth, Prometheus is the Greek Titanide (son of a Titan) that created the image of man. Sympathetic to mankind's struggles against the elements, Prometheus defied Zeus, the king of the gods, stole the gift of fire from the hearth of Olympus, and gave it to the humans of Greece. In myth Atropos is the eldest of the Fates, three sisters that measure, arrange, and cut the threads of life. Atropos would cut the threads of human lives when their life was to end.
