Biography

Robo is a robot from the year 2300 A.D., part of a security detail for a factory. Prior to being dubbed Robo by his new allies, his designation was R66-Y (or R-66Y). As a thank-you to Lucca for repairing him, Robo offers to guide them through the factory in order to restore the power of the Proto Dome, which contains the means for the group to leave the post-apocalyptic world.

In battle, Robo is a physical powerhouse with a diverse array of Techs. He has the highest or near-highest Power, HP, and Stamina in the game (along with Ayla), but is crippled by average Magic and awful Speed and Magic Defense (his Magic Defense is the lowest in the game). Robo learns physical, Shadow, Fire, Lightning, AND healing single Techs, which vary in usefulness but may fill several niches in a team. Robo also takes part in a wide variety of Dual Techs and Triple Techs, again capable of playing multiple gameplay roles depending on his party setup. By the end of the game, Robo excels as a physical powerhouse, but is also capable of contributing as a healer or as a supplemental magic user.
